You have taken on a second or third exam, you are past 50 students, or you want to tell a parent where their child will land rather than only where they are. Three exams on Solo costs more than Pro anyway.

Pro → Studio

A colleague joins you, you are past 150 students, or you want one shared question bank and parent reports carrying your own branding. Adding a second teacher to Pro costs $298; Studio is $349 and gives you three teachers, twice the students and all five exams.

Studio → Enterprise

Not a headcount step — Studio carries eight teachers at $79 a seat. You move when you need Savad on your own domain with SSO, API access into systems you already run, per-branch reporting, or a contractual SLA.

You never choose a number: your plan comes with an allowance sized generously against your student count, and the calculator above works out where you would land. If you ever pass it, nothing is cut off mid-term — you top up, or we move you up a plan if that is cheaper.

Before you book a demo

How does the free trial work?+

There’s no self-serve sign-up, on purpose. You book a call, we set Savad up on your own exam material during it, and your 14-day trial starts the same day — full access, your real students, no credit card and no feature held back. Solo and SAT50 buyers get a 15-minute setup call; Pro and above get the full 30 minutes. If it hasn’t saved you time by day fourteen, the trial simply ends.

Who owns the questions and student data?+

You do. Anything you upload or create stays yours, exports as CSV whenever you want, and is never used to train models sold to other tutors or centres. If you leave, you take your question bank and your student history with you. The privacy page has the detail, and a DPA is available for centres.

What is SAT50, and what happens when I add a second exam?+

SAT50 takes 50% off a Solo licence when SAT is the only exam on the account — $55 a month instead of $109. Three rules, and they are the whole of it: it works on Solo only, it needs SAT to be your only exam, and it does not stack with annual billing or the early bird. When you take on a second exam you move to standard Solo at $109, and we cover the $40 extra track for the rest of your first year — so teaching another subject costs you $54 more, not $94.

Am I buying for myself or for my centre?+

For yourself. Savad is sold per tutor — one plan is one teacher’s licence, and everything in it belongs to that teacher: their classes, their students, their question bank. If you run a centre, Studio covers three teachers and takes up to eight at $79 a seat, on one invoice. Past eight teachers, or when you need SSO, API access, per-branch reporting or an SLA, it is Enterprise.

What happens if I go over my student limit mid-term?+

Nothing breaks and no student is locked out. Extra students are $1 each a month — ten over on Solo is $10, not a forced jump. Those extras run up to 75 students total on Solo, 200 on Pro and 375 on Studio. Past that the next plan up is genuinely the cheaper path, and we move you rather than keep selling seats. The calculator above tells you the month that flips.

Are the limits per exam or across all of them?+

Two rules. Counted across all your exams together: active students, the AI allowance, and ready-made mock papers. Counted per exam: the mock exams you can run each month, and the ready-made question bank — every exam brings its own. The comparison table tags each row, and the calculator adds up your exact combination.

How many ready-made questions do I actually get?+

It depends which exams you teach, because every exam ships its own bank and they are not the same size — SAT carries the most, IELTS next. Pick your exams in the calculator above and it shows the figure for that exact combination. If you need more, or need your own material in there, the question service builds it at $0.10 a question, or $0.15 for IELTS.

What does it cost to have you build my questions?+

$0.10 a question for SAT, TOEFL, CSCA and AP, and $0.15 for IELTS — speaking rubrics and paired passages take longer to build properly. One flat rate either way: no bundle tiers, no minimum order and no setup fee, so ten questions and ten thousand cost the same per question. The first 10 are free for everyone. A full term for one class, around 500 questions, is $50 — and typing those in yourself is more than 40 hours.

What’s an AI action, and why don’t you ask me to guess at them?+

One AI action is one graded essay or speaking response, or one block of AI-tutor use with a student. We used to ask you to estimate them, which is a question no tutor can answer. Now the calculator works it out from your student count — roughly 30 a month each — and tells you which plan that lands in. It is a soft cap either way: nothing is cut off mid-term, no student loses the AI tutor, and if top-ups cost more than the next plan up we tell you and move you.

Is annual billing worth it, and what does “cancel any time” mean?+

Annual is 20% cheaper — Solo $87/mo, Pro $175/mo, Studio $279/mo, billed once for the year. Monthly plans cancel any time and stop at the end of that month. Annual plans run to the end of the term you paid for; you can cancel renewal whenever you like, and you keep access until the year is up. SAT50 is the exception: it is already half price and does not get the annual discount on top. Most tutors start monthly through their first term and switch at renewal.

How is DIM English billed?+

DIM English on its own is billed monthly or every 6 months at 20% off the plan — Solo $87/mo, paid once for the six months. The 6-month option is only for DIM: add another exam and the account is billed monthly or annually like any other, and DIM on its own is not sold annually. Add-ons stay at list price, as on annual.

What’s the early-bird offer?+

The first 30 teachers to join get 30% off for their first 12 months, and we load their first 100 questions in at no charge. It replaces the 20% annual discount rather than stacking on top, it needs annual billing, and it does not apply to SAT50 — which is already the lower price. It is limited by headcount, not by a date.

When does Enterprise make sense?+

Not at a headcount. Studio carries up to eight teachers at $79 a seat on one invoice, so a six-teacher centre pays $586, not $1,500. Enterprise is for what the platform does: Savad on your own domain under your own brand, SSO for staff, API and webhooks into systems you already run, per-branch admin and reporting, a contractual SLA and a dedicated CSM. Pricing is a platform fee from around $1,500 a month plus a per-teacher volume rate, scoped with you.

What currency is this, and does it include tax?+

Prices are set in US dollars and exclude any local VAT or sales tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. Use the currency switch in the header to see them in manat — that is a live conversion for comparison, and the amount charged is always recalculated at checkout. Card payments are processed by Epoint; your statement may show the amount converted by your own bank. If you need an invoice in another currency or for a school’s finance office, tell us and we will issue one.

Can I switch plans later?+

Any time, in both directions. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at your next billing date so you keep what you have already paid for. Nothing you have built — questions, classes, student history — is lost when you move between plans.
